What categories of tools have emerged from the design activities so far?

The MiME research has identified several different categories of tools or systems which could be developed to enhance the experience of Intimate Media.

An important distinction lies between the type of tools which are designed specifically for Intimate Media experiences and those designed for other purposes but with certain qualities that make them also usable in Intimate Media experiences.

Within those designs specifically for Intimate Media, there are many possibilities: from stand-alone tools to a collection of tools for capturing, storing and displaying bound together by a system.
